Posting about the weekend to follow later. Or tomorrow. At the moment, this is just a quick FYI:
Of late, I have found my f-list too cumbersome to follow regularly. This results in many things being skipped or missed. Not good. To make following more manageable, I have now performed my annual[*] ritual -- The Culling Of The F-list. As always, I have based this on (a) how frequently others post (i.e., how much of an investment of my time it takes to read their journal), and (b) how frequently they reply to my entries or comments (i.e., how much time they have chosen to invest in me).
Please be assured that I am not making a statement about anyone by removing them from my f-list. I strongly dislike the terms "friend list" and "defriending" and whatnot -- it sounds so personal! This is just simple mathematics; there is not enough time in the day to read everything... so I have to choose to interact most with those who are interacting with me.
Thank you very much. We now return you to your regularly scheduled Sunday Evening...

I use Trillian to connect to all my IM services with just one client open -- if you haven't tried it already, I recommend it highly.
It would be nice to chat with you, either via IM or phone. :)

P.S. I, too, am a convert to the ways of Trillian! It is highly convenient to have both of the IM services that I use -- AIM and MSN -- running through the same program!
