Ahead Of My Time

To all of you out there in 2012 -- which is the bulk of my f-list right now -- here is a message (or three) from 2013:

1. The world does not end in 2012. (Huzzah!)
   
   
2. 2013 appears to be a very dark place so far.[*]
   
   
3. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! (HUZZAH!)

Right now, I am winding down from a lovely New Year's Eve party here at Chiron Beta Prime with my beloved cheshcat, my darling miss_amaranth, the ever-awesome wolfpeach, the fantastic dragonmamma, and several folks with no LiveJournals[**]. There were games -- like Give Me The Brain and The Shinnin' -- briefly interrupted by a quarter peal attempt at 21:00 to ring in the new year with some Stedman Doubles. Afterward, there was baked camembert (with garlic bread) and a chocolate fondue! Not a bad send-off for the old year, if I do say so myself!

A traditional year-in-review retrospective for 2012 shall be forthcoming. For now, however, tis time for bed. I hope that all of you still reading from last year are having a spectacular celebration... and I look forward to meeting you when you finally catch up with the times!
