anarchist_nomad | Day 48: Another Year Older and a New One Just Begun

Thank you to all who participated in the poll from my previous entry... and an extra-special thanks to those who left comments. The response was much greater than I could have anticipated[*] -- indeed, it has surpassed Bohemian Rhapsody Day 2008 as my most commented upon journal entry and the poll was taken by more people than any other that I have ever written here.

I still have a handful of comments to reply to from that entry... and once I have processed all the words of wisdom that you -- my dear friends -- have shared, I may have another post to make on those topics. For now, however, I have nothing further to say on the matter. This post is about another topic entirely... though certainly no less important!

Today, gentle readers, is the birthday of the lovable and wonderful

cheshcat! Last year, many of you joined us at the Flat With No Name and helped to wish her a fantastic birthday! This year, we will be celebrating with a road trip and some exploring on our own. However, birthday wishes would still be most welcome... especially as my dear Chesh has been somewhat socially isolated for the past month or so as she recovers from her knee surgery. Won't you please help in reminding her that she is not forgotten? For those in the UK, if you know her mobile phone number, feel free to call or send a text! For everyone else, maybe drop a comment in her LJ... maybe send an e-mail or an e-card to her at cheshcatt (at) gmail (dot) com. Go ahead -- you know you want to put a smile on the birthday girl's face!
