Thirty-four years ago today, horrendous acts of terrorism perpetrated on a democratic nation by the enemies of liberty became the worst terror attacks of September 11^th. Thirty-four years later, they remain so.

Fifty-six years ago today, Mom was born.

I have a strong preference for the latter event...
