As for your work, here are my thoughts:
1/ I'm always interested to hear about your work. 2/ The Internet is generally a pretty insecure medium. Sure, there's powerful encryption out there, but it's not going to be used to protect LJ entries. 3/ If it turned out that your notes did get forwarded to The Wrong People, that would not do great things for your career. So... 4/ Much as I like the idea of reading about your work, I'd recommend you not post it on your LJ, even behind a lock. 5/ That being said, if you decide to make a locked group, please include me.
