Although many (most?) of my friends may not care about such geographical silliness, longtime readers of this journal -- or anyone who knows me well -- should not be surprised!

Why am I not suprised??? You know what's at the westernmost point of mainland Ireland??? Dunmore Head, Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry. You know what's there? Jesus with diarrhea. On the other side there is a lot of rocks and water, as you might expect.

Also wik, did I mention that I loved Castlerigg Stone Circle? *grins* It was about the only nice day our whole trip and the sun shining with the clouds leaving dappled shadows in the hills made it seem like some kind of paradise.

Also also wik, your picture at Lizard Point reminds me of this picture at the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. It's like "Yes, I really -is- that windy!"
