Irons In The Fire

Methinks the Word of the Week is "multi-tasking." After recharging my batteries over the weekend with lovely visits from darkfloweruk and fire_kitten, I have managed to:

• Send out relevant announcements for the upcoming Sooper-Sekrit October Pagan Festival[*,**]
  
  
• Crunch budget numbers for SSOPF and other relevant bits of administrivia.
  
  
• Write and mail SSOPF confirmation packets.[**]
  
  
• Ring Stedman Doubles to the point where I believe I have the plain course well understood.
  
  
• Start practicing my Stedman Triples.
  
  
• Begin my application for a lectureship at a top UK university.[***]
  
  
• Make significant headway in our upcoming moving plans.
  
  
• Formulate plans for our upcoming trip to the States.

Plus, amidst all the productivity, I managed to squeeze in a date with the lovely miss_amaranth. Because all work and no play makes Nomad a dull something-or-other.

Between now and Monday October 11^th, I don't expect to have a moment of free time. Many irons in the proverbial fire and all that.[****] By then, however, at least four major projects will have ended. My word -- I'm not sure what I will do with myself after! No matter, though; with three weeks to ponder upon in, I'm sure that I can think of something...
