Day 24: New York City or Bust!

Three guesses which of those two options I prefer... and the first two guesses don't count!

In a little while, cassiopia and I will leave the Event Horizon, hop into cheshcat's Infiniti, and head to pomoloco's apartment in Manhattan. The drive is about 820 miles, which means that it is just about the only thing that we will be doing today.

I am planning to do all of the driving myself, since cassiopia has her own big drive coming up on Monday. If I can pull this off, it will be the second largest number of miles that I have driven in a single day. The largest was the 1200 miles I drove from Southern Colorado to the Event Horizon in late November 2003. Back then, I had five screaming cats to keep me company. I love my cats, but I have little doubt that cassiopia will be better road trip companionship!

cheshcat is flying into JFK airport tomorrow morning to join us. Should be a fun weekend. I don't expect to LJ again until Monday, so I am taking a two day vacation from the 100 Days of LJ project. See you on the other side...
