Day 2: All in all it's just another...

...piece of really cool artwork on my wall!

Behind me, is the newly framed piece of original art that resourceress had commissioned for me as my thirtieth birthday present.  While she is here visiting, we went out hunting for frames.  This took longer than we had anticipated but, eventually, we found something nice and the picture board is now matted and mounted in the bedroom.  When designing this as a birthday present, resourceress was trying to get me something that she knew I would like, that she knew I did not have, and that she knew I would never get for myself.  Being the huge Iron Man fan that I am, she definitely succeeded with this present!

Since the artwork is not clearly visible in the photo above, here is a link to a scan that is posted on the website of the artist, Bob Layton. The final version includes a birthday greeting from Bob inked at the bottom of the board.
