By now, the bi-monthly parties at the Event Horizon have become a well-established social event. The next party -- coming up on Saturday July 16 -- will be a very special party, as we have two causes for celebration. cheshcat will be moving from Arizona into the Event Horizon, so this party is in her honor and to welcome her to her new home. Also, The Moof's thirtieth birthday will be on July 19th, so we will be celebrating the end of his time as a twenty-something. Please come and join us in our revels!
The party will start at 1pm and last until late. Right now, NorthEastern Illinois seems to be in a bit of a drought, so I hope that the weather will be clear for the party. If it is, then in addition to the usual games, puzzles, etc., there will be outdoor games (e.g. frisbee, four square) in the backyard, a bar-b-que, and a fire in the firepit after dark.
An RSVP is appreciated, but not required. Just showing up on Saturday is okay, too. As always, crash space is available. If you think that you will need crash space, an RSVP would be especially appreciated so that we can prepare accordingly.
