Lots going on lately; very little time for writing. Here's a quick summary:

As mentioned previously, The Moof and I have been doing some home improvement on the Event Horizon. More decorations, a completely rebuilt game closet, safety alarms, and curtains are some examples of what we have been working on.

[livejournal.com profile] classrevolution is in town. I hung out with him on Sunday at the house he is staying at, and got to meet more cool Chicago-based Anarchists in the process. Good times.

Last night, did more Books to Prisoners work, which I find rewarding as all get-out (whatever that is).

Most of my holiday shopping is done, which is far earlier than usual for me. Heck, half of it is already wrapped... which is unprecedented for me.

[livejournal.com profile] cheshcat arrived from Phoenix last night! YAY! We will be together for the next month! Double-YAY!!

Plans for who [livejournal.com profile] cheshcat and I will visit on our upcoming trip to the NorthEast have been nearly finalized. Although we won't get to see some of the usual people (e.g. SC and CKJ), we will be visiting with the Asylum House (another poly family that we are friends with) and CC2 (fellow arrestees from A31). And, of course, we will be seeing many of the "regulars", like Mom, Kiddo, [livejournal.com profile] pomoloco, and CC1.

Tonight, [livejournal.com profile] cheshcat and I will be going to see a performance of The Importance of Being Earnest. I love Oscar Wilde, and I love this play in particular, so it should be great fun. I don't think I've seen it performed on stage in almost ten years!

[livejournal.com profile] sunastria and [livejournal.com profile] resourceress are arriving from Boston on Friday for our family Yule celebration. This is one of my favourite times of the year, and the fifth year that we will all be together for Yule.

Okay, that's about all for now. I'm off to go pick up [livejournal.com profile] cheshcat, then head to a tree farm to select and cut down our Yule tree for this year...
