To sleep, perchance to dream

It occurs to me that, for a person who is effectively living alone, I sure don't sleep alone very often. During the past twelve nights, I have only slept alone twice. And in the eleven nights left before I fly to Argentina, I don't expect to sleep alone at all.

Yesterday was one of those rare nights where I slept alone, and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Around midnight, I curled up in bed with Howard Zinn's "A People's History of the United States: 1492 to Present" and I read for about an hour and a half before drifting off. Various kitties wandered in and out of the room, keeping me company as I read. Very relaxing.
