Interesting. You may have tried to get me to read it but, if so, I must confess that I do not remember those efforts. I first recall being exposed to Alan Moore's work in the summer of 1995, when RRG and cheshcat and I were living in the so-called "Bates Motel" in downtown Amherst. Our housemate, Tony, was also a comic book collector and a big fan of Alan Moore. RRG got very into his stuff right away; in contrast, it would take me years before I read The Watchmen and I am only now about to read V For Vendetta.
