That exhibit looks fascinating - I really wish I could see it in person! I've been looking around the photographer's website - and will probably do so for a fair bit longer - and I do get the impression that the details of the installation would be rather critical with this kind of work. What did it feel like? It was outdoors? Was there a lot of space for people to move about, or was it a more intimate kind of setting? Some of the photographs are more interesting than others, to me; I get how he's using these jaw-dropping (both for the beauty and the rarity of perspective) scenes to jolt people into caring for his cause(s), but I'm really fascinated by the photographs that focus on mirroring his ideas about human impact on the environment (not just the health of the earth, but every aspect of it). Seeing how clearly something so vast and awe-inspiring could be totally affected by mere humans is pretty stunning. Was that the sense you got from most of the photographs? (I am again frustrated at the lack of teleporter. You really must work on this. *big grin*)

Ha, I completely agree with you about Love's Labour's Lost; have you ever seen the Kenneth Branagh movie version? I was halfway hopeful that he would manage to make it more interesting somehow, but I actually basically just wandered away from it (not exactly ordinary behavior from me; I am persistent to the point of stupidity, generally speaking). I would have to agree with you and [livejournal.com profile] bunnypip about The Taming of the Shrew and The Merchant of Venice, double ugh (to perhaps put too fine a point on it). I'm sorry it wasn't more fun, though.

Glad to know you're still managing to have some fun, even amidst all the moving and commuting! You said you're unlikely to have any unplanned evenings for several weeks - are you doing anything especially exciting?

(I think I should get extra redeemable points for the length of my reply. Right? *wink*)
